The distant yet familiar state of Hibernia has been taken over by corrupt tyrant Austericus, plunging its citizens into an oppressive autocracy.
Two slaves, Ragnall and Milo, bear witness to a divine oracle and try to convince a local cod merchant to be the face of the revolution. But will he take the bait?
Together with a riotous troupe of actors, musicians and fish, emerging Irish musical hit-makers Ill-Advised present a spectacularly irreverent take on the absolute state of the place and the power of being a ‘character’.
